How to remove a background

1. Open the App and tap Choose Photo.
2. Select one photo and wait for on-device background detection.
3. Use Erase or Restore if an edge needs adjustment.
4. Choose a transparent, white, black, color, or photo background.
5. Tap Save to export PNG or JPG, or use the share sheet.

If no subject is detected

Choose Erase Manually to start with the whole image preserved, then erase the unwanted background yourself. You can also return and choose a photo with clearer separation between the subject and background.

If saving does not work

• Open iOS Settings and allow the App to add photos.
• Confirm that the device has enough free storage.
• Try sharing the file instead of saving directly to Photos.
• Keep the App open until the export finishes, especially for very large photos.

Transparent images

Use PNG to preserve transparency. JPG does not support transparency, so the App uses a white background when a transparent edit is exported as JPG.

Restore the Remove Ads purchase

Open Settings in the App and tap Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple account that made the original purchase. If the product is not shown or restoration fails, check your internet connection and App Store account status.

Selected photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to a developer-operated server for background removal. See the Privacy Policy for details about ads, consent, and purchases.
