Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS app Remove Photo Background (the “App”) handles information.

Photos and image processing

Photos you select are processed on your device for background removal, manual mask editing, compositing, and export. The developer does not upload your selected photos or edited images to a developer-operated server. Temporary working files are stored locally and removed when the editing session ends. Images you choose to save remain in your Photos library or in a location you select through the iOS share sheet.

Photo library access

The App uses Apple’s system photo picker to let you select images. It requests add-only Photos permission when you choose to save an exported image to your library. The App does not require full-library access at launch.

Advertising and consent

The free version may use Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and consent status to provide, measure, prevent fraud in, and personalize or limit ads. The developer does not receive your selected photos through these services.

Purchases

The optional lifetime “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The App checks Apple-provided purchase entitlement information to unlock the feature. The developer does not receive your full payment card details.

Accounts, analytics, and developer servers

The App does not require an account and does not operate a backend for image processing. The current version does not include a developer-operated analytics service. Apple and third-party SDK providers may independently process limited technical information under their own policies.

Data retention and security

The developer does not retain copies of your selected photos on a developer server. Local temporary files are intended to be deleted after use. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the App minimizes data handling by keeping its core image workflow on the device.

Your choices

• You can cancel photo selection without granting broad library access.
• You can deny or revoke add-only Photos permission in iOS Settings.
• You can review available ad privacy choices from the App’s Settings screen where required.
• You may purchase the lifetime Remove Ads product to disable ad loading and display in the App.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the App or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
